Our stage 1 tune optimises your stock vehicle and maximises its performance in stock form. The factory tune has been tuned down to accommodate for lower octane fuel. We change that by optimising it for RON98 to give you that much added boost. Options are not available on Stage 1 tunes. The following attributes have been optimized:

• Improved throttle response

• Factory Speed Limiter removed

Our stage 2 tune is meant for vehicles that have uprated downpipe. It enables the K04 turbo to boost freely and provide you much better performance. Additional options can be added:

• All of stage 1 plus
• Higher Boost limit
• Optimised Spark ignition maps
• O2 Sensor CEL delete to enable you to use a high-flow catalytic or catalytic delete for track days without the check engine light.
• Approx. gains (+45hp / +110NM)

Our stage 3 tune is made for vehicles wanting to get everything out of the K04. Match this with our wastegate mod and water methanol injection or E85 and you have yourself a weapon.

Our stage 4 tune are for vehicles wanting more power than what the K04 can offer. This tune utilizes the K16 turbo found on the Focus RS. This is a bespoke tune. Multiple revisions are needed to get this dialled in and will require some data logging. We also offer this service as a Dyno Tuning Package in case you want a hassle-free, drop-off type of service. Wanting a different setup? Be it you’re wanting a different turbo or you’re more power, we can help with that. We can either dyno tune your vehicle or can do assisted road tuning where we send you a file then you have to log parameters for us. We then revise the tune then repeat the process. You need access to a private strip of road where you can drive up to 170kph. The second option is more suited to people who have experience with datalogging. Have a different turbo in mind? Wastegate Mod
We will adjust your wastegate control maps so you may utilise an aftermarket wastegate with uprated spring like a Turbosmart 7psi wastegate. This mod allows you to hold more boost at higher RPMs.

Burble/Crackle
We offer 3 versions of Fuel overrun Crackle
Version 1: Burbles. This give you a gurgling exhaust note when you lift the throttle. Very discrete and will work with a catalytic.
Version 2: Lift-off Pop. This gives off one or two pops when you lift off the throttle during driving. Needs decat.
Version 3: AK47. Self-explanatory. Needs decat

Water Methanol Injection
Water Methanol Injection lowers the air intake temperature and cools the engine. It also boosts your octane, allowing us to increase ignition timing. We will tune your vehicle to take advantage of the cooling properties of water-methanol and increase more HP.

E85
E85 is a high octane fuel. It is mostly used in racing applications. With E85, we can increase your ignition timing and run leaner air-fuel ratio – all of which increases horsepower.
NOTE: You need to upgrade fuel injectors and fuel pump. (This is not a flex fuel tune as the ME9 ECU does not possess that ability.)

2-step Rev Limiter
We will add a 2-step limiter depending on your preferred RPM

Torque Limiter Delete
We will remove/adjust the torque limiter on 1st and 2nd gear on automatic transmissions.

Modern vehicles have an engine that is controlled by a computer. This is called the ECU or Engine Control Unit. The ECU controls all the engine operations, from how much fuel to inject to how much boost to request. From factory, these ECUs are usually programmed to comply with fuel economy and emission targets. This normally means that the engine is not allowed to run to its full potential. When tuning your vehicle, we basically set the target to be performance-oriented. This allows your vehicle to tap into the engine’s power that was normally out of reach. Furthermore, tuning becomes essential when upgrading certain parts of your engine. For example, using a larger injectors requires a re-map simply because running it on your stock setup will cause the vehicle to run rich (too much fuel being injected)

We need to be able to read and edit the files in your ECU order to properly tune your vehicle. For this to be possible, we need to access the ECU via the OBD port using a special tool (ECU Flash Terminal). Therefore, there are a few ways to go about the process.

Option 1: (Recommended Option)
You come to us OR we come to you. This will enable us to use our tool to read and write the tuning files on your vehicle. We can also refer you to a partner near your area where they are able to conduct this flashing process.

Option 2:
You can also purchase an ECU flash tool. This will enable you to flash unlimited amounts of tune revisions and updates. The downside is the tool itself is costly and therefore adds to the cost of tuning. If going for a custom tune with road tuning, we highly suggest you go this route.

No. We access the ECU software via the OBD port.

The reading and writing process only takes about 10 minutes however, we need to manage the files prior so the whole process takes between 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the tune.

It depends. For exhaust mods for example, it can be installed prior to tuning. For the turbo wastegate however, it needs to be tuned prior to install. Please get in touch with us to confirm.

Firstly, we read the files of your ECU and make a backup of it.
Secondly, we cross-match the map locations and/or define them on your file. Next, we modify the maps needed within your file to suit your upgrade parts. This process can take between 15min – 2 hours.
Lastly, we flash it back to your ECU.

It’s quite simple and straight forward. When you purchase our tunes and are not quite happy with it. We will work with you to make things right. If after that you are still unhappy, we will flash your stock tune back (or whatever tune you had prior) and give you your money back. This guarantee excludes options and is for the main tunes only.
